THE PACK ATTACKS YAMAHA CLUB GRAND EYEBALL VISAYAS
Evening of the 28th of November became a night of Bikes, Babes, and Boys as Yamaha held it's first ever Yamaha Club Grand Eyeball Visayas at the Amneszia Superclub Mandaue City Cebu.
With more than 10 Yamaha Club joining and at least 650 Yamaha Club members, they all joined forces to show their Comaradarie , Passion and Unity as a member of the Yamaha Club. Organized by Kristofer Mendoza and Kristoffer Manayaga , with the support and presence of Sales and Marketing Director, Kaoru Ogura. they made sure that this would be one grand event that every member of the Yamaha Club would remember.
Among the clubs who have attended are the United Snipers Club of Cebu (USCC), South Scooters Club (SCC), All Mio Club (AMC), Yamaha Cebuana Club (YCC), FZ16 Club of Cebu, Yamaha Fino Club-Cebu (YFCC) just to name a few. Of course, the Vega Rorce Riders Pack (VFRP) would not miss this grand event as the pack gathered early in the afternoon led by Patrick Casicas who made sure that everyone was present to attend and bring the name of the Pack.
Several contests were prepared by Yamaha to make the evening more worthwhile for the bikers including Slow Drag Racing, Pizza Eating Contest, Loudest Pipe and of course Yamaha Girl of the night where in each group would have one participant for each event.
Of course, kicking off the eyeball was the introduction of all the groups who participated and dinner that Yamaha Club prepared for everyone making sure that everybody was all fueled up for the nights activities.
Once everybody had their stomachs filled, everyone gathered outside the venue to start the contest with the slow drag racing. It was Larrie Badilla who represented the pack for the race and although he was not able to grab the first prize, he made sure VFRP didn't make it last having been able to reach the semi finals round. In the end, it was the Yamaha Fino Club-Cebu who took home the first prize.
Second on their list of activities was the Loudest Pipe event that was divided into two categories, Automatic Motorcycles and Manual. VFRP's Marvin Cyrus representative the team with his Vega Force Bike but it was the United Snipers Club of Cebu who proved that they've got the loudest pipe in the road for the Manual Category. USCC was paired with the YFCC in the automatic category and got themselves the first prize.
After the contests that requires the riders' bikes, everyone went back inside the venue for the duration of the event and the next one was the very fun Pizza-Eating contest that was represented by our very own John Dryden Gabuya. He may have been the smallest among the participants but he proved himself a challenge to the bigger guys even though he was not able to win the prize.
The last part was probably the most awaited part for everyone. All throughout the gathering, several lovely ladies were already roaming around the area showcasing their beauty and poise as Yamaha Girls and by the end of the evening, they finally stood in the stage vying for the title Yamaha Biker Babe. It was a sight to behold as the ladies made sure that all eyes are on them as they walked on stage. If each of the clubs has their own Biker Babe, VFRP had Kenji Rosylle Benologa and she definitely showed everyone that she got what it takes to be called a Yamaha Girl. She may not have grabbed the title for the night, but she will always be a winner in the eyes of the Pack.
The Grand Eyeball was concluded with a fellowship night for everyone and a live band for everyone to enjoy.
With all the competition that took place , the VFRP team may not have bagged any awards but their sportsmanship, camaraderie, unity and passion definitely made them stand out for the night . Of course everyone did not go home empty handed as Yamaha provided each attendees with a free Yamaha T-Shirt and Jenovah Magallanes finally distributed the Vega Force Riders Pack Official year-end shirts.
Ralph Go, VFRP President could not help but be thankful for the commitment that everyone gave and for the eyeball especially for those who have helped out within the event from the registration until the end . There is certainly a bright future for the pack and with the help of the Yamaha Club, the Pack would definitely look forward for the next events to come.
